Wimbledon, the famous tennis tournament, announced in an official statement, another surge in its prize pool.

The winner of the men’s singles and the winner of the women’s singles will take home £ 2.35 million each (€ 2.72 million, 116,000 more than last year).

The 10% increase in the prize pool of qualifications and the first three rounds of the main draw was also highlighted: for example, a player or player eliminated in the first round of the singles will receive 45,000 pounds (52,000 euros).
