Russian organisation Gambit Esports has partnered with domestic gaming peripherals company Cougar.
As part of the new partnership, Cougar will provide Gambit’s training facilities with its range of gaming chairs.
Additional details of the partnership have yet to be disclosed, though typical gaming chair partnerships don’t tend to extend beyond chairs being provided to the organisation and custom branded chairs being produced.
Konstantin Pikiner, Sports Director at Gambit Esports discussed the partnership in a release: “I am delighted to welcome Cougar as our new partner. The company’s products meet the high requirements of esports athletes for whom the choice of a gaming chair is crucial. I am sure that this agreement marks the beginning of a long and productive cooperation.”
This marks the third partnership for Gambit this year, having partnered with monitor producer Viewsonic and energy drink brand Tornado Energy.
Pyotr Emelyanenko, Marketing Communications Manager of Cougar Russia added: “We are excited by the fact that Cougar will be represented by such a prominent club as Gambit Esports. We hope that the following year will be productive and fulfilling both for us and our new partners!”
As per the release, the agreement with Cougar is a year-long deal and will come to end on December 1st, 2020.
