Casino operator NagaCorp has confirmed that it has received the green light from the Cambodian government to reopen its casinos this week.
After the pandemic period linked to Covid-19, the territories of Cambodia foresee new measures to favor a rapid and optimal recovery of business.
Casinos, including NagaWorld, a property owned by the NagaCorp company, are also among the businesses ready to resume operations.
According to a company statement, the facility is authorized to reopen for its VIP gaming machines and slots from July 8, after the publication of the preventive measures indicated by the Ministry of Health.
According to NagaCorp, on July 4th a technical team from the Ministry of Health conducted an inspection of the physical site on the premises of the NagaWorld casino
The inspection defined that the company complied with the requirements of the health standards and also with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as set by the MOH.
Upon opening, NagaCorp will be required to follow a complete series of precautionary and preventive measures at the casino level:
body temperature screening, mandatory clothing with mask, disinfection of public areas, social distancing in F&B outlets, social distancing in play areas and the setting up of five isolation rooms.
