Sigma Group has formalized the creation of a fourth summit intended to integrate shows in Europe, Asia and LatAm: Sigma Africa.
From what has been learned from The Betting Coach, the event will take place in March 2022 in Cape Town, South Africa and for the following years, in 2023 and 2024, it will rotate, heading west, first in Ghana and finally east in Kenya.
Thanks to this news, and its ramification on four continents, the Sigma Group becomes the main protagonist of the world game system.
“We believe that setting up the event in multiple regions will offer our delegates a more inclusive and comprehensive overview of the vast and widely diversified markets, investment opportunities and sector development”
… that’s what Sigma said
The summit will follow in the footsteps of past events, replicating high-level conferences, exhibition plans and leading networking opportunities.
Also this event will have a list of prestigious and international guests.
The regulatory debate will be a priority, because online gambling is currently allowed or regulated in less than 20% of African jurisdictions.

SiGMA Group Founder, Eman Pulis said,
“Africa offers an exciting and diverse marketplace, ripe with opportunity. Opening a show in Africa feels like the right move at a time when SiGMA is expanding its portfolio of events.
With events in Asia, LatAm and Europe, and a revamped website offering translation into 6 different languages, Africa brings us full circle as a truly international brand.
“Why have we chosen Cape Town for our inaugural summit?
Our friends at Clarion are doing a sterling job in Johannesburg and we simply didn’t want to provide more of the same, despite the latter being the business capital.
Cape Town, however, lends itself exceptionally well as a tourist destination, coupled with the fact that several gaming companies are also based there. It’s safe, fun and the facilities there are exceptional.
Covid-permitting, I can’t wait to head to Cape Town myself as soon as possible to check the facilities out!”
