From where did you start your affiliate marketing business and how? How much were you willing to commit to it?
I started it 5 years ago in Tel Aviv, Israel, and I am totally committed to it!
What were your biggest challenges when first starting?
To find direct and quality publishers.
How did you scale up your affiliate marketing business?
By creating SaaS services such as AffiliTest.com that help other Affiliates and help me to contact them and partner up in terms of traffic.
What do you know now that you wish you knew when starting out?
That I need to be patient and that failure is part of each success story.
What helps make your performance successful? What are the main challenges?
Tech, Tech, and again – Tech!
What motivates you to promote more, and what helps you boost your motivation?
The most satisfying moment for me is to see my clients getting good results because of our traffic or services, this is my main motivation!
Do your products help affiliates or also operators?
We are helping advertisers, publishers, networks, and agencies.
How do your products send traffic to operators?
One of our products is super-smartlink that can take any kind of traffic and monetize it properly.
What sets you apart from other affiliates? Why should affiliates and/or operators choose your products?
There are two main things that separate us. The first one is that we are a pure tech-based company so we can adjust any service to fit 100% our client’s needs. The second one is that our clients are always our top priority, getting 100% personal service in order to give them anything they need 24/7.
What makes your traffic proposition/traffic sites unique?
We have the tech to filter our traffic and prevent any kind of unwanted traffic for our clients.
How can affiliates be more unique in their approach?
For affiliates to be unique they must have edge; tech edge, traffic edge – you got to have one.
Which niches work best for your affiliate marketing, and which are the most profitable?
We are mostly focused on Display and App marketing (such as CPI).
Which qualities and skills are essential in an affiliate business?
You need to be incredibly open minded to changes, flexible, and with good personal contact skills.
Do you create all the marketing material you need to promote in-house, or do you out-source it?
We have our own creative department.
How important is social media activity for your affiliate marketing? How difficult is it with Google’s constant updates?
We are using social media only to promote our own services.
Which emerging technologies like AI and big data will impact the affiliate industry in 2020 and beyond?
AI is the biggest thing; we are integrating AI in each and every product we have and it’s a game changer.
What are your predictions for the future of the sector?
Well my only prediction is that things are going to change a lot and extremely fast, so we need to be ready to change with them and to lead the change by ourselves.
What are the benefits of attending large iGaming events, and what can they do better?
There is nothing stronger than personal meetings, and that’s the main reason that I go to conferences.
Have you ever been to SiGMA? SiGMA Europe, Africa, Asia, or Americas – which of these four expo shows would you likely book on your diary for 2021, COVID-19 permitting?
Not yet but I will join the next one for sure!
