GoldenRace, leading virtual sports and betting solutions provider, has received the license to start operating in Greece.
The license, which is both for retail and online, has been issued by the Hellenic Gaming Commission and will give GoldenRace access to all the operators under the official scheme.
“We are very happy to be licensed in Greece.
It is part of our business strategy to accomplish every country’s requirements to be able to offer our leading virtuals there,” said Martin Wachter, GoldenRace’s CEO and Founder.
The company will now begin the process to certify its award-winning virtual sports and games to be able to offer them to Greek players.
“They are huge football fans, so it is certain our virtual football is going to meet their needs, with all the popular European leagues and tournaments we offer and especially with our recently released virtual Euro Cup,”
added Tassos Panagiotaros, GoldenRace’s Sales Director.
GoldenRace’s virtual football generates more than 20 million bets worldwide on a daily basis, being the absolute leader in most markets, such as the Italian, where it has been doing a heavy part of the whole betting volume of the retail business since 2018.
The company has been issued licenses and certifications in many major jurisdictions, like Malta, UK, Sweden, Lithuania, Spain, Romania, Denmark, and many others. Greece is a promising market, with a total Gaming Revenue of 15,961.85 million euros in 2019, according to the Greek Gambling Market Statistics Report 2019.
